Search for this brand and you tend to land on two kinds of pages. Product listings with a lot of exclamation marks, and a few forum threads that say "it's okay" without ever saying why.
Neither is much use when you're about to spend money.
So we did it the slow way. We read the brand's own pages, looked at what shoppers say on third party stores, went through the UAE shop's prices and policies, and wrote down what holds up and what doesn't. Where the brand makes a claim we can't check, we say so. If you came looking for daily life forever52 reviews that aren't just cheerleading, this is our attempt.
One fair warning first. This guide comes from the Forever52 team, so weigh it accordingly.
We've tried to be straight about the weak spots anyway, because a trust guide that only lists
positives isn't worth reading.
The Short Answer
Yes, with conditions. Daily Life Forever52 is a long running, budget friendly makeup brand with a big range, low prices and mostly positive shopper feedback wherever that feedback exists in real volume.
The conditions: review counts on the UAE site are still small, the returns policy is stricter than the homepage banner suggests, and you should only buy through official channels. The rest of this guide takes those one at a time.
Who Is Behind Daily Life Forever52?
Daily Life Forever52 is a cosmetics brand under Forever Makeup Trading LLC. Its About Us page traces the story to the early 1990s and a young chemist in Paris, with the first product lines arriving from Germany. The brand says it reached the Gulf in 2007 and now sells through around 1,200 stores, backed by 200 training institutes and 350 exclusive department store and mall outlets.
Daily Life Forever52, established in 2008, is a cosmetics brand under Forever Makeup Trading LLC, offering a professional range of makeup products. Its sister brand, Character Paris, established in 2009, is recognised for its innovative and premium cosmetics. Both Dubai-grown brands have expanded their presence to over 40 countries, with a global retail network spanning approximately 1,200 stores, supported by 200 training institutes and 350 exclusive outlets across department stores and malls.
Those figures come from Character Paris itself, so read them as claims, not audited facts. What we can see for ourselves on the UAE site is a registered company name, a UAE phone number, a support email, a store locator page and an app on both the App Store and Google Play. None of that proves quality. It does separate a real retailer from the anonymous shop fronts that disappear after a few months.
The range is wide. The About page mentions 500+ unique products, and describes a face range of about 50 products in more than 400 shades. The global site's brands page shows two makeup names under one roof, Daily Life Forever52 and Character Cosmetics, and the UAE shop adds fragrance lines such as Mishkat Al Arab and Le Dolce.
What Daily Life Forever52 Reviews Actually Show
This is the section most people scroll to, so here's the honest picture.
On the UAE store, ratings exist but they're thin. Character Block Out Concealer shows 4.5 from 24 ratings. XL Volume Mascara (Made in Italy) shows 4.7 from three, and Complete Coverage Concealer shows 5.0 from four. Plenty of other products, including several lipsticks and eye pencils, have no reviews yet. Numbers that small are encouraging, but they
can't settle the question.
The bigger samples sit on Indian marketplaces, where the brand has sold for years. On Purplle, the Ultra Definition Liquid Foundation in shade FLF014 holds 4.1 from 466 ratings, and shoppers mention a smooth finish and lasting wear more than anything else. About one rating in seven was a single star, which is worth knowing. Over on Nykaa, Amazonic Kajal sits at 4.2 out of 5 from 139 verified ratings. Different market, different stock, sometimes different packaging. Take those scores as a rough read on formula quality, not a verdict on what lands at your door in Dubai or Abu Dhabi.
A couple of other things stood out. One Purplle reviewer described the foundation finish as dewy, not matte, which matters if you were expecting a flat powder-like look. And mixed ratings on any foundation usually come down to shade and skin type rather than a bad batch. That's true of every brand at every price. With 19 shades on the UAE listing for that foundation, matching takes a little effort.

Forever52 UAE Authenticity: How to Check Before You Buy
Worrying about fakes is reasonable. Popular, affordable makeup gets copied, and marketplaces are where the copies tend to turn up. The UAE site labels its stock as 100% authentic and brand direct, which is what you'd expect it to say. What matters is how you can confirm it yourself.
Here's what we'd actually do:
- Stick to official channels. Order from the official site, the Forever52 app, or one of the stores on the store locator page. Those are the only places we’d trust.
- Be wary of prices that undercut the sale price. The official site already runs discounts between 10% and 50%. A "secret" price lower than that on a random marketplace page deserves suspicion.
- Match the details. Product names and shade codes follow a clear pattern on the site, things like FLF001 or BOC002. If a listing uses different codes or names, ask before you pay.
- Keep your order confirmation. Support is reachable on +971 54 995 5052, at online@fmt52.com, or by Instagram DM. If something looks off, send photos and your order number.
In short, forever52 UAE authenticity depends far more on where you buy than on luck.
Prices and Value
At the time of writing, the UAE site lists Character Block Out Concealer at 36.00 AED, Character Quick Stick Foundation at 30.00 AED, Character Oil Control Setting Powder at 44.00 AED and the Ultra Definition Liquid Foundation at 59.50 AED. The newer Academic Series costs more: Academic Foundation is 85.50 AED and the 300ml Academic Fixer Spray is 94.50 AED. Lipsticks mostly land between about 12 and 24 AED.
Compared with prestige counters, that's cheap. Prices move with sales, though, and the crossed out "was" prices on any store deserve a pinch of salt, so judge an item by what you'll actually pay. The question reviews can't answer yet is cost per wear, because the UAE review pool is still small.
Delivery, Returns and Support: Read This Part Twice
Shipping is free on orders above 199 AED. Customer service runs 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Saturday. The site also advertises 24/7 support, so we'd treat the posted hours as the safe assumption and the rest as a bonus.
Returns are where you need to slow down. The homepage banner mentions a 15 day return policy. The Return & Refund Policy page says something stricter: orders can be cancelled before they ship, and once an order is delivered, no cancellation or return is accepted. The exception is damage in transit, which can be exchanged within 7 to 14 business days if you send a photo or video with your complaint. Refunds for cancelled orders also take 7 to 14 business days, and your bank may charge a transaction fee.
Until the brand clarifies how the banner and the policy fit together, plan around the policy page. If a return matters to you, ask support in writing before you order.
What Forever52 Does Well, and Where It Falls Short
The good first:
-
Range. Over 500 products, with a face range that covers hundreds of shades.
-
Price. Everyday lip and eye products sit well under 40 AED, and sales are frequent.
-
A few proven hero products. Block Out Concealer has a steady 4.5 across 24 UAE ratings, and the foundation has years of marketplace feedback behind it.
-
Origin labels. Several mascaras and eye products are labelled Made in Italy or Made in Germany on their product pages.
-
Big shade ranges. With a foundation range of 19 shades, they celebrate diversity and inclusivity, ensuring a wide range of skin tones are represented and everyone can find their perfect match. And the less comfortable part:
-
Thin local reviews. Many products have no UAE reviews at all, so you'll often be an early buyer.
- Strict returns. No returns after delivery, apart from damage in transit.
What We Couldn't Verify
A transparency guide should say where the trail goes cold. We read the homepage, the About Us page, the policy pages and the product listing summaries, and a few things weren't there. We found no cruelty free or vegan certifications, no dermatological testing claims, and no company issued authenticity certificate beyond the "100% authentic" label. That doesn't mean they don't exist. It means we can't confirm them, so if any of these matter to you, ask support before you buy.
Who Should Buy It, and Who Might Skip It
Forever52 makes sense if you're building a kit on a budget, want to try a new category without a big spend, or like lip and eye basics at 12 to 35 AED. It suits people who are happy to test shades in a store first, then reorder online.
You might skip it, or at least start very small, if you need the option to return anything after delivery, or if you have very reactive skin and want detailed dermatological testing claims. We didn't see those on the pages we read. And if you won't buy anything without a long trail
of local reviews, give it time.
A Sensible Way to Try It
- Start with one or two products that already have reviews, like the Block Out Concealer or the Oil Control Setting Powder.
- Read the shade names closely. The foundation listing spells out undertones, such as a fair shade with pink undertone, which helps more than the shade code alone.
- Patch test any new base product along your jawline before wearing it all day.
- Order from the official site or app, and save the confirmation email.
- Write your own review afterwards. The UAE listings could use more honest ones, good or bad.
